Assessment Of Accuracy And Reliability Of Linear Measurements Of Dry Human Mandible In Opg, Cbct And Direct Measurement On Mandible: A Comparative Study
Abstract
Orthodontist have historically relied on 2-dimensional imaging to aid diagnosis and treatment planning as well as to monitor treatment progress and growth. With the advent of 3-dimensional imaging modalities such as conventional computed tomography (CT) and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), practitioners can now visualize and measure the true 3-dimensional anatomy of patients. Aim of this study was to assessment of accuracy & reliability of linear measurement of dry human mandible in OPG, CBCT & direct measurement on mandible.
