TERMINOLOGICAL DICTIONARY ON TYPOLOGY AND TERM EXPLANATION METHODS

Abstract

The article describes the types of terminological dictionaries and the methods of interpreting the terms in them based on the materials of the Uzbek language. Also, in the article, the main problems of modern terminology today, controversial approaches, classifications of terminological dictionaries, specific features of terminological dictionaries created in the Uzbek language, types of terminological dictionaries created to date, explanatory terminological dictionary and signs and characteristics typical of a field encyclopedia, a dictionary of pure scientific terms and a professional glossaries of terms, nominative, partitive, enumerative, and gender annotations are discussed as types of annotations.
