IDENTIFICATIONS OF FACTORS RESPOSIBLE FOR CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY OF PUPIL-TEACHERS USING BRAINSTROMING TECHNIQUE AND IN-DEPTH INTERVIEW

No one denies the fact that from the creation of human life till the present area of innovations, human mind and itss thinking powers are unimaginable worthy. It is behind our every success among other species of this planet. Humans thinking capabilities are God gifted by help of which they can think critically, create new things and adapt to the new situations and at some points of time they are also capable to modify the surroundings according to themselves. Critical thinking of a person can be boost up by giving a proper education and when it comes to education fruitful results only can be taken place in the present of well professional teacher. When the teacher will be able to create opportunities so that students their critical thinking can be develop than only the purpose of true education can be achieved. This research was conducted by the investigator into three- phase. A qualitative approach was used and 65 pupil- teachers of H.N.B. Garhwal University were selected for first phase, for the second phase they were divided into five groups contains 13 in each one and for last phase 12 most active students were interviewed by the researcher. Finding of this study identifies the factors responsible for critical thinking abilities of pupil- teachers into three different dimensions that are pedagogical factors, personal factors and social factors with help of brain- storming method and in- dept- interview.
