Morphological and Anatomical Review of Some Veronica Species from the Plantaginaceae Family

Abstract

A comparative morphological study included the indumentum of the epidermis of the stems, leaves and their petioles, and the epidermis of the petals, as well as the venation system of the leaves. Also, the review refers to a detailed morphological, taxonomical, anatomical, and phenotypic study that includes (roots, stems, vegetative leaves, and petals) for some species spread in Iraq, the study of vegetative leaf veining, the study of pollen grains for the studied species and study the geographical distribution of some of the species that have been studied.
